NAIS Civil Aviation Infrastructure Exhibition and Forum will take place on February 5 – 6 at Crocus Expo. The event is officially supported and co-ordinated by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation as well as the Federal Air Transport Agency, and is scheduled to celebrate the Civil Aviation Day.

NAIS 2020 is a key event within a strategic national industry and is to proudly welcome top state officials and business managers including Mr. Andrey Belousov, 1st Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Mr. Evgeny Ditrikh, Minister of Transport of Russia; Mr. Alexander Yurchik, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia; Mr. Alexander Neradko, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency; Mr. Oleg Bocharov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia. Attendee list also includes General Managers of Russia's top airports and business related structures.
2020 is a crucial period for the National Project for modernization and expansion of trunk infrastructure. More than 60 airports across Russia (including ones located in the Far East) are to be renovated within the Project, and work is in progress at some of the locations and routes. This active phase of the Project brings a unique asset to NAIS: unveiling of the national infrastructure roadmap that the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) curates that reflects the 10-year period of growth of national airports and listing specific plans through 2024.
During NAIS 2020, the OPR editorial team will be issuing Show-daily news to cover key events that will then be distributed to all participants and attendees.
Starting October 2020, NAIS will join the Global Reach Airport Show that unites various exhibits within global air industry including Inter Airport Europe (Germany), Inter Airport China, Inter Airport South East Asia (Singapore), Airport Show (UAE). C600 Group stand will be available during the event.
Launched at NAIS 2019, the Open Innovation Podium will once again showcase hi-end know-how's, technologies and practices to all participants and attendees.
NAIS is a globally recognized business platform where hi-tech product, solutions and partnerships are found. 38 participants are newcomers to the event – out of a total of 130 from Russia, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Turkey, China, France, Poland, Belarus, Germany, Canada, Thailand, Finland, Czech Republic and the UK.
The show will focus on innovative products, ideas and solutions for airports, airfields, helicopter centres, air carriers to modernize their operations:
B2scan SD1000-RC-09 arched metal detector with integrated radiation monitoring system presented by AIRFLOT TECHNICS Trade House;
Neoscan will present an unprecedented 2-projection security tool with the iCMORE technology, which allows to automatically detect solid and liquid explosives.
Yuzhpolymetal-Holding will demonstrate their newest SHELF-T-R compact explosives and drug detector to work in areas where fingertips are scanned.
Other key participants to bring hi-end security control products to the table will be: Diagnostics-M (on-board food control systems), MedPoint24 (a pre-flight health check system that only takes 1,5 minutes to complete a check and saves up to 40% of the costs): SC Robotics (a vessel parking patrol and security robot); Boschung (Jetbroom 10000, a highly productive airfield purge machine). The show visitors will also see innovative ground security, car parking and luggage handling solutions by exhibitors like Merkator Holding,Amano Parking, Alstef, Fabrika Hartman, Convetronic, Zamar AG, GAZPROMNEFT and other market leaders.
The Travel Routes special sector at NAIS is a selection of development projects by airports and air companies:
Gelendzhik Airport will present the model of their new air terminal already in construction starting Q1 2020 as well as their mew marketing strategy.
Airports of Regions Holding will introduce new investment projects like Elizovo and Novy Urengoy airports.
Vnukovo Airport will present updates on their successful partnership with Turkish Airlines as well as an interactive model of their air terminal with a multi-level car parking lot, a future metro station, and cooking master classes by Sky Food Vnukovo, their official catering supplier
Zhukovsky Airport will display the opening of their cargo terminal, ZHIA CARGO, report their 2019 results and new plans for passenger handling, security robotization and strategic global partnerships.
NAIS 2020 Forum is a two-day intense business Program for infrastructure leaders and professionals:
‒ The Program will open on February 5th with the Air Gates of Russia Award and Skyway Service Award ceremonies followed by the Development of Interregional Air Route Network as a Driver of Economic Growth in Russia's regions plenary session. Speakers will cover key matters like improvement of aviation activity state support; implementation of investment infrastructure projects aimed at airport development; effectivity analysis of route subsidies and flat tariffs; the role of regional hubs, air fleets and small airports. Speaker list includes top representatives of Ministry of Transport of Russia, Rosaviation, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Aeroflot and S7 air companies; Airports of Regions, State Transport Leasing Company, Krasnoyarye Airports.
‒ The 7th National Conference on Topical Issues of Transport (Aviation) Security on February 6th will be a key event within the Forum. The Conference is co-organized with Transport (Aviation) Security Directorate of Rosaviation and will also feature speakers of MinTrans, Federal Service for Transport Supervision, Federation Council Committee on Defence and Security as well as other state bodies and top industry solution providers. Discussions will focus on the Federal Law «On transport security»; application of amendments and legal acts; upgrades and attestation processes and procedures with regard to professional HR; innovative technologies to cater for security including control, biometrics, perimeter safety, examination and other categories.
‒ The Program also includes the following events: Digital Document Management and Technology in Civil Aviation session on digitalization; Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in Aia Transport conference; Innovative Technologies for Design, Construction and Operation of Airfield Infrastructure conference supported by the Federal Administration of Civil Airports (airfields); Effective Strategies for Airport Development and Management conference for investors and managers. Newest solutions will be presented by airports and handling companies at the Ground Handling at Aiports: Efficiency and Safety session.
